When I go out of town, I try to make time and look for local yoga studios where I can be a "drop-in" guest. These are some standard studio etiquette tips I keep in mind:

SHOWER. You never know how close you will be practicing with other students. I'm always freshly-showered and I avoid wearing perfumes

NO SHOES in the studio. Ask where to leave your shoes if it's not obvious. If you have to leave the studio (to the bathroom or lobby) after you place your mat, you should put your shoes back on for that

NO PHONES or devices

VIBE. Be yourself while respecting the ambience the studio has created. Some classes or studios are loud with music and socializing. Others are quiet, more meditative. Try to be open and keep in mind a studio is a place to GATHER
